“Vermont Commons for Information Technology Educators:
A Professional Learning Community”

It’s all about the connections! As we all are aware, education is changing. With the advances in research about how the brain works and the implications for our profession, the “flattening of the world” caused by globalization, and the digital natives showing up at our classroom door expecting to learn in the digital world, it is almost impossible for educators to keep pace. In order to assist teachers and those who support effective technology integration, we have developed a Professional Learning Community and a web portal to support this community. We call it “Vermont Commons for Information Technology Educators (VTCITE).” This brief presentation will provide information on how to connect to this Community at a couple of different levels. Who you know is
