International Online Collaborative Learning Opportunities
Sharon Peters
As a classroom teacher, Sharon participated in over a dozen global projects in the last few years connecting her Canadian students with students from such places as Russia, Kuwait, New Zealand and Israel. Her student projects have garnered five international awards in the last four years. She will discuss why global projects enhance students' learning experiences, specifically developing multiple literacy skills, demonstrate how the tools and online spaces make it easier than ever to create global projects and show where and how to find global partners. Stretch your classroom learning environment with a global partner.
